Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 6/27/2026

MoldMind is committed to making the Service usable by inspection professionals and their clients with the broadest possible range of abilities and assistive technologies. This statement describes our conformance target, how we work toward it, known gaps, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.

1. Conformance Target

We design and test the Service against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the de facto standard cited by Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, by the European Accessibility Act, and by most U.S. state-level digital-accessibility requirements applicable to commercial services.

We use this target as a working standard, not a contractual guarantee. Some Service features may not yet fully conform, particularly newly released features and features that depend on third-party components beyond our direct control.

2. How We Design and Test for Accessibility

Our accessibility practices include:

  • Semantic HTML for headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and form controls;
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, including focus indicators, logical tab order, and "skip to content" links where appropriate;
  • Screen-reader-friendly labels, ARIA roles, and alternative text on functional images;
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA contrast ratios for text and meaningful UI elements, in both light and dark themes;
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to a range of viewport sizes and that support browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality;
  • Motion-reduction support for users who have requested reduced motion in their operating system settings;
  • Manual and automated review of new features that change navigation, forms, or critical workflows.

3. Known Gaps

The Service is actively developed, and we know about certain accessibility gaps we are working to close, including:

  • Some richly interactive components (such as the report editor, photo gallery, and lab-result tables) may not yet have complete keyboard or screen-reader parity with their mouse-driven affordances;
  • PDF outputs produced by the Service may not yet be fully accessible (tagged) in every layout; please contact us for accessible alternatives where needed;
  • Third-party embeds (such as Stripe Checkout and Clerk sign-in) are governed by the accessibility of those vendors; we choose vendors that publish their own accessibility commitments and we will work with you to identify alternatives if a specific vendor flow is a barrier.

We update this list as we identify and resolve issues.

4. Reporting an Accessibility Issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier in the Service, please tell us. Email accessibility@moldmindai.com with:

  • A short description of the barrier;
  • The page, screen, or feature affected (URL if possible);
  • The browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using (for example, "Chrome on Windows 11 with NVDA," or "Safari on macOS with VoiceOver");
  • Steps to reproduce, if any;
  • Screenshots or screen recordings if it helps.

We will acknowledge accessibility reports within a reasonable period and provide an estimated timeline for remediation. Where remediation will take time, we will work with you in good faith to identify a reasonable accommodation in the interim — for example, a manually generated accessible export or assisted use of the affected feature.

5. Alternative Access

If a specific Service feature is presenting a barrier you cannot work around, contact accessibility@moldmindai.com and we will work with you to find an alternative way to accomplish the task. We do not condition Service access on the ability to use any particular interface element.

6. Changes to This Statement

We update this statement as our accessibility posture evolves. Updates are posted with a new "Last updated" date.
